Through these flavours, we uncover stories of resilience, creativity, and the ways these business owners interpret of the cuisine, adapt and thrive abroad. We want to showcase how food can connect people and inspire others to share Singapore cuisine.
Singapore food is a celebration of diversity. Just like its mix of contrasting flavours, our project is about Singaporeans blending their roots with the cultures of the places they’ve settled in. It’s a journey of flavours, stories, and connections - a little messy, a lot unique, and always heartfelt. We will be featuring 16 stories across the book.

We want to create a book that profiles 16 entrepreneurs across 11 cities and 3 continents. Some began with little more than passion, others with a longing to recreate the flavors of home — serving guests who might not even know where Singapore is.
Through their triumphs, stumbles, and small daily joys, this book explores how Singaporean food becomes more than sustenance — it becomes identity, creativity and grit, and a reminder of the surprising ways our flavours connect people across continents.
